Naglfar

Naglfar es una banda de Black Metal, procedente de Suecia y formada en 1992. El grupo está conformado por Jens Rydén y Kristoffer Olivius, conocidos antes con el nombre de "Uninterred"

Naglfar nació en el año de 1992 con Jens Rydén como vocalista y guitarrista, y Kristoffer Olivius, en el bajo. La banda tuvo su primera alineación completa cuando apareció Ulf Andersson de Nocturnal Rites en la batería, y Morgan Hansson y Fredrik Degerström en las guitarras. Con su nueva alineación Jens pudo enfocarse más en la vocalización. En 1994 Fredrick dejó la banda por motivos personales, después de eso Ulf dejó la banda para dedicarse más a Nocturnal Rites. En ese tiempo la banda se dedicaba a escribir y grabar su primer demo en Garageland Studio, titulado Stellae Trajectio. El demo se lanzó en noviembre de 1994. Antes de que se lanzara el álbum la banda cambio su nombre oficialmente a Naglfar.

A principios de 1995 la banda firmó con Wrong Again Records, y ese mismo verano lanzaron su primer disco Vittra. Después de grabar el álbum Mattias Holmgren dejo la banda, después de eso la banda se mantuvo inactiva durante algunos años. En 1998 se lanzó su sigiuente disco, titulado Diabolical, el cual recibiría críticas positivas, con más cambios en la formación, Naglfar grabó un EP llamado Ex Inferis y otro disco llamado Sheol.

En el 2005 se lanzó el disco Pariah, con algunos de los mejores valores de la producción y canciones mucho más imaginativas, este álbum impresionó tanto a fanáticos nuevos y viejos. Al disco lo prosiguio un exitoso tour junto a Dark Funeral, recorriendo Europa y realizando varios conciertos en festivales. En diciembre, Morgan Lie fue confirmado para bajista de la banda.
