SOFFOCATION 8 ALBUNES

Suffocation es una banda estadounidense de death metal. Ellos mezclaron los ritmos característicos del Death metal con una compleja estructura musical, creando así el subgénero technical brutal death metal. Suffocation esta a la par con bandas como Mortician Immolation e Incantation debido a que pertenecen al conocido "death metal neoyorkino" (New York Death metal o NYDM para abreviar). También son conocidos por tener dos músicos afroamericanos (baterista Mike Smith y el guitarrista Terrance Hobbs) lo cual es muy raro de ver en la escena del metal extremo

Amon Amarth es una banda de Death metal melódico con tematica vikinga que procede de la ciudad de Tumba, en Suecia, formada en 1992. Su nombre significa «Monte del Destino» en sindarin (una de las lenguas élficas de la Tierra Media creada por J. R. R. Tolkien). Dark Lunacy es una banda de death metal melódico originario de Parma, Italia. Su música tiene una clara influencia Gotica
Es un proyecto que nació en el año de 1997, cuando Mike (voz) y Enomys (guitarra), se juntaron para tocar explorando con estilos, y en 1998 sacaron un mini EP titulado Silent Storm, después llegó a la banda el baterista Baijkal y el Bajo Harpad, y decidieron hacer otro mini EP titulado Serenity en 1999, ahora si el grupo estaba formado y ya tenía su grupo de seguidores, y es por eso que en Noviembre del año 2000 sacan su primer disco de estudio titulado Devoid, bajo la firma Italiana Fuel Records, fue gracias a los sencillos "Dolls" y "Forlorn", que Dark Lunacy se dio a conocer, y en Febrero de 2001, re-grabaron "Devoid" para distribuirlo a Japón, México y el Sudeste de Asia, así como Norteamérica. En marzo de 2001 hicieron la gira Devoid Tour 2001, y en Mayo del mismo año filmaron su primer video con MTV, "Dolls". En diciembre de 2001 Harpard (bajo) dejó la banda y fue reemplazado por Imer, con esta nueva alineación sacaron un mini CD con la colaboración de Infernal Poetry, donde venían dos nuevas canciones "Defaced" y "Die to reborn", así como el videoclip de "Dolls". Después de trabajar en el estudio, sacan por fin en el 2003 su segundo disco de estudio titulado Forget Me Not.

Tras sacar su ultimo disco en el 2006 The Diarist el bajista Imer y el baterista Baijkal dejan el grupo por razones personales dejando a Mary Ann (bajo) y a Mathias (batería) como los nuevos integrantes.

OLD MANS CHILD

Old Man's Child es una banda de black metal melódico proveniente de Oslo, Noruega.
La banda fue fundada en 1993, pero sus orígenes se remontan hacia 1983; cuando Galder Aldrahn Jardar eran miembros de la banda de death metal/thrash metal Requiem. Después la banda Requiem cambia su nombre y es ahí cundo se forma Old Man´s Child. Desde 1993 la banda ha cambiado en todos sus integrantes excepto Galder (antes llamado Grusom) quien ha permanecido desde que la banda se fundó.

En 1996, la banda firmó un contrato con Century Media, quien distribuiría sus discos por todo el mundo, atrayendo la atención de nuevos fans.

En el año 2001, Galder ingreso a Dimmu Borgir, banda en la cual aun permanece, pero sin dejar de lado a Old Man´s Child.

El nombre de la banda; "Old Man's Child" hace referencia a "El Hijo Del Diablo".

El 9 de julio del 2008, Old Man´s Child anunció que comenzarían a grabar su séptimo disco de estudio el 8 de septiembre del 2008.

ROTTING CHRIST

Rotting Christ es una banda de metal extremo formada en Atenas, Grecia de 1986.
Formada por los hermanos Sakis y Themis Tolis, en sus inicios el grupo tocaba una cruda mezcla de death metal con elementos de grindcore. Un año más tarde la banda decide volcar su estilo al death metal y black metal en la vena de Bathory y Venom.

En esos primeros años los miembros de la banda utilizaban nombre tales como Necromayhem (Sakis), Necrosauron (Themis) y Mutilator (el bajista original Jim). Luego de cambiar de estilo la banda graba varios demos y discos de corta duración, presentándose a la vez pocas veces en vivo, pero la situación se revertiría con el tiempo. Siendo respetados por gente de la escena black metal, como los polémicos Euronymous o Varg Vikernes, Rotting Christ incluyó atmósferas oscuras y teclados desde sus primeros lanzamientos.

El año 1996 marca la partida del bajista Jim "Mutilator", a partir de esa fecha la banda atraviesa un periodo en el que entran y salen miembros de la banda, permaneciendo como base estable y compositiva los hermanos Tolis y el bajista Andreas.

El presente los encuentra como una de las bandas de rock más populares de Grecia, a la vez el disco Sanctus Diabolos marca en cierta manera un regreso parcial a sus raíces, luego de varios lanzamientos en que el grupo incluyó muchos pasajes de metal gótico o experimentales. Rotting Christ ha anunciado recientemente la salida de su nuevo álbum "Aealo" para el 15 de febrero del 2010.

Nokturnal Mortum es una banda de Folk metal / black metal (dentro de la corriente del black metal nacional socialista) formada en 1994 y procedente de la ciudad ucraniana de Járkov.
La historia de la banda empieza el 31 de diciembre de 1991 en Járkov con el nombre de Suppuration. Su primer trabajo fue "Ecclesiastical Blasphemy" en 1992, distribuido por el sello belga Shiver Records. Más tarde Sataroth entra en la banda en 1992 como vocalista y graban "Unspeakable Journey Into Subsconscious World" demo (1993). En abril de 1993 Wortherax entra en la banda como guitarrista y graban "Cosmic Flight Around Astralspher". La demo fue incluida en el 7" EP The Final Holocaust Records, hasta que la productora quedó colapsada y Suppuration desapareció ese mismo año.

vision divine

Vision Divine nació en 1998 originalmente como un proyecto solitario de Olaf Thorsen (antiguo guitarrista y líder de la banda Italiana Labyrinth). Muy pronto, Fabio Lione (actual vocalista de Rhapsody of Fire) se une a él después de un breve periodo en Labyrinth ("No Limits"), y lo que iba a ser un proyecto en solitario se convierte en una banda real, tomando su nombre del antiguo nombre de Labyrinth ("Vision") y el que iba a ser el titulo del primer disco en solitario de Olaf ("Divine"). Completando su formación con Mat Stancioiu (batería), Andrew McPauls (teclados) y Andrea "Tower" Torricini (bajo).

Celestial Season fue una banda de Death/Doom y Stoner Rock. Se formaron en 1991 siguiendo la estela de My Dying Bride. Luego de dos álbumes en ese estilo, cambiaron a un Stoner Rock muy influenciado por Kyuss. La banda se separó en 2001 pasando en su historia por 6 sellos discográficos.
Nacieron en 1991, de la mano de los hermanos Ruiters, con la explosión artística que supusó el Death/Doom, siguiendo particularme las directrices de My Dying Bride. Luego de 2 demos, en 1993 son capaces de grabar su primer disco, Forever Scarlet Passion, que cuenta con una música lenta venida del Doom Metal, guturales característicos del Death Metal apoyados por el violín y el teclado, teniendo líricas que remitían a la depresión y a la naturaleza.

AVA INFERI

AVA INFERI es una de esas bandas que impresionan desde un primer momento, con Rune Eriksson (Blasphemer) el cual conocemos por ser el principal compositor en Mayhem y ahora con dedicación exclusiva además de alma matter de esta gran banda portuguesa que logra captar rápidamente la atención del oyente ya que lográn sumergirnos en una atmósfera llena de depresión y melancolía en donde el doom con sonidos de la vieja escuela, se mezcla de manera armoniosa y delicada con la voz de Carmen Simoes quién en estos días también trabaja aportando voces para Moonspell, tanto en grabación como en vivo.Carmen también ha tenido su paso por otras bandas de renombre como Poetry of Shadows, Isiphilon y Aenima. Ella es poseedora de una voz y un estilo que me hace recordar en ocasiones a la banda Luna in caelo, con 2 albunes a su haber y un tercero que aquí les traigo recién estrenado y se llama “Blood of Bacchus”. Recordemos que Rune dejo de lado el frenesí desenfrenado, del black metal, que lo hiciera conocido en todo el mundo con bandas como Aura Noir, y Mayhem para caer en la oscura depresión del doom.En este tercer disco aparecen como artistas invitados Kristoffer Rygg de ULVER, Live Kostol de PANTHEON I, Fredrik Soderlind de los PUISSENCE y el talentoso pianista Arne Martinussen

Officium Triste es una doom metal banda de Rotterdam, los Países Bajos. Se refieren a su estilo a menudo como Rotterdoom. Es en gran parte inspirado por bandas como My Dying Bride y principios Anatema, Pero el último disco es más lento y más melódico . Las voces son en su mayoría inteligible gruñidos de muertepero con ocasionales voces limpias . Su casa es el lugar Baroeg en Rotterdam

Las raíces de Officium Triste volver a la década de 1990 cuando Martin y Johan decidieron formar una banda de metal. El nombre de esta banda fue Reïncremated . En la primavera de 1994 , la última línea de esta banda decidido dejar de fumar y la reforma bajo un nuevo nombre con una propuesta musical diferente.
